  1. That the Board receive this report pursuant to Auxiliaries and Volunteers Board Policy No. 03/02 and present Auxiliary Staff Sergeant Michael Yarlett with the Volunteer of the Year Award.

  RECOMMENDATION  
     
 
  1. That the Board approve the revised organizational chart for York Regional Police, dated April 22, 2009. 
 
     
11. Community Policing Partnerships Grant Program Extension 27
     
  RECOMMENDATION  
     
 
  1. That the Board approve the one-year extension of the Provincial Community Policing Partnership (CPP) Grant Program from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services; and

  2. That the Chairman be authorized to execute the agreement in accordance with Recommendation #1, subject to prior review by York Region Legal Services; and

  3. That the Board forward the agreement to The Regional Municipality of York requesting a resolution of Council authorizing the Region of York to enter into this agreement with the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.

  1. That the Board receive this report pursuant to Section 52 of the Agreement between the Regional Municipality of York Police Services Board and the Toronto Transit Commission.
 

14. License of Occupation Agreements Communication Towers 37
     
  RECOMMENDATION  
     
 
  1. That the Board replace its interim Installation of Communications Towers policy with the revised Installations on Radio Communication Towers policy attached to this report; and

  2. That the Chief of Police be authorized to execute Licence Agreements with each of the commercial users of the Board’s Communication Tower Site located in the Township of King, subject to prior review by York Region Legal Services, such Agreements to be based upon the Region’s fee structure and each to commence May 1, 2009; and

  3. That the current commercial users having equipment on this site be responsible for payment of fees up to May 1, 2009, in accordance with the interim policy adopted by the Board in February 2008.

  RECOMMENDATION  
     
 
  1. That the Board receive this report pursuant to Police Services Board Delegation of Signing Authority – Chief of Police Policy No. 07/04.
