Award recipient Mr. Gary Thompson

On behalf of the Regional Municipality of York Police Services Board, Chairman Danny Wheeler presented the Board’s 2010 Award for Civic Leadership to Mr. Gary Thompson for his commitment to community service and safety and for his countless hours of volunteer work and community outreach. Mr. Thompson accepted the award citing the influence of his parents who instilled a commitment to community service and his wife and two daughters for their support and encouragement.
