2020-2022 Business Plan
The 2020 to 2022 Business Plan has gone digital. The new online format is easily accessible, includes engaging content and is environmentally friendly. The business plan clearly lays out objectives for the next three years, all of which focus on taking care of our people and our community.
Highlights of the 2020 to 2022 Business Plan include:
- working to enhance professional development,
- promote well-being,
- invest in innovative technology, and
- identify opportunities to improve services and processes.
This will be accomplished through community engagement, partnership building, enhanced service delivery and by promoting equity and inclusion for all.

2017 - 2019 Business Plan
In consultation with the Chief of Police, the Police Services Board is responsible for preparing a Business Plan for the police service at least once every three years. In the development phase of the Business Plan, extensive consultations are conducted with municipal councils, school boards, community organizations and groups, businesses and members of the public. Highlights of the 2017-2019 Business Plan include the following:
- Focus on evolving and serious crimes that affect the community
- Effective and efficient delivery of service
- Maintenance of a high level of public trust and satisfaction
- Greater emphasis on youth engagement and partnerships
2014 - 2016 Business Plan
The 2014-2016 Business Plan addresses the following:
the objectives, core business and functions of the police service, including how it will provide adequate and effective police services;
quantitative and qualitative performance objectives and indicators;
resource planning; and
The objectives and actions in the Business Plan reflect the considerable feedback received during the consultation process, and the Board’s commitment to providing efficient and effective policing services.Download the 2014-2016 Business Plan
