Statement form the York Regional Police Services Board on the Tragic Shooting in the City of Vaughan

The York Regional Police Services Board would like to extend its sincerest condolences to the families and friends affected by the tragic shooting last night in the City of Vaughan and would like to thank York Regional Police and the first responders who assisted at the scene.
The Regional Municipality of York Police Services Board is a seven-member civilian Board that oversees the York Regional Police and is comprised of one member as Head of Municipal Council, three members are appointed by resolution of Regional Council and three by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.
